Well, I shouldn’t go that far. But, the reception the new 10.5″ has received makes you wonder!
Thought I’d take this opportunity of returning here to highlight the lack of sensible thought and common sense in this world. Especially when it comes to those who seem to lack a coherent vision.
My latest encounter concerns my giant, monster, mega-bank..as consumer advocate, Clark Howard, fondly refers to them.
My inquiry concerned which routing number to use for IRS tax refunds. I just wanted to clarify. And their website isn’t exactly clear.
This was the response:

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think I need a tax advisor in order to find a correct routing number!…Obviously, Wilma didn’t bother to realize what I was asking! It’s this sort of cluelessness that gives one grave concerns about our future!..

As election time nears, and just like clockwork, the Democrats have found and eager accomplice in the Republican candidate. Whether it’s apologizing for something that didn’t happen or explaining a stance on a non existent issue, the GOP falls for the bait every single time.
This year is different only in the sense that Donald Trump’s combative attitude plays right in to Hillary’s scheme. The Clinton campaign has shifted the debate away from immigration, debt, unemployment, and national security to Donald Trump’s taxes and Miss Universe. Of course, the media enhances the message with the premise that these sorts of matters are of vital concern to the American people. And you wonder why we are where we are in this country!
The Bureau turned its back on its own traditions of floating above partisan politics in the pursuit of justice.

One thing’s a given when it comes to American politics…it’s pretty predictable..
The Hillary Clinton email debacle…Benghazi….her cavalier attitude about national security…None of it seems to matter. This is disturbingly sad. Especially when it should matter A LOT!.. If you take the time to think about it, she is in no way acceptable as president of the United States!
With the exception of the email scandal, the media has maintained a “ho-hum” attitude about her dubious tenure as secretary of state. Four Americans DIED needlessly in Benghazi. It was MORE than obvious she and Barack Obama covered up incompetence in the name of political expediency. Yet, as she indignantly sat before a Congressional committee, she had the unmitigated GALL to dismiss the inquiry as a witch hunt (an appropriate term for her) instead of owning up to the failures of her department. That, along with the flimsy excuse of some video that the world has never seen as the cause for the attacks, should have outraged every citizen of this nation. Yet, her behavior and mismanagement, is excused and exempted. That’s the way it’s always played out for the Clintons. And, despite evidence to the contrary, so will the email scandal. Mrs. Clinton was clearly impervious and careless when it came to the national security of the United States. Criminal negligence is so obvious here. I would like to think the guidelines for the operations of the U.S. State Department are pretty clear! Nevertheless, she’s given a pass.
It’s been noted that you can kiss accountability goodbye with Hillary Clinton in the White House. Some could argue, that’s always been the case. But, never before has it been staring us in the face as we turn a blind eye. Sad…very, very..sad….
This election season is indeed a fiery one…And it’s just getting started…
Aside from the shameful occurrences in San Jose, CA last week, you may be having a difficult time grasping Donald Trump’s appeal to vast numbers of voters..If you take the time to look behind the lackluster reporting of most of the mainstream media, the answer is fairly obvious…

“The U.S. job market notched its weakest monthly gain in more than five year, knocking down expectations for a Federal Reserve rate increase and stirring worries about the seven-year old economic expansion.
Employers added 38,000 jobs in May, the weakest performance since September 2010, the Labor Department said Friday. The unemployment rate, obtained from a separate survey of households, fell to 4.7% from 5% in April largely due to a steep decline in labor-force participation.
Revisions to previous payroll data showed employers added a combined 59,000 FEWER jobs in April and March than previously reported. That brought average monthly job growth in the past three months to 116,000, a sharp SLOWDOWN from the average growth of 219,000 over the prior 12 months.”

There you have it.. If you believe there’s real, viable job growth in this country, I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you… Yet we have a president in Barack Obama who goes out and touts the reduction in unemployment when you have millions of americans, that presumably WANT a job, dropping out of the work force because there are no REAL jobs that offer career opportunities as in the past. Figures are tossed out by the administration, only to be revised a month or two later with disappointing results. Yet, I’m certain the actual number of Americans that follow that could likely be counted on one hand.
I’m surprised the WJS refers to a “seven-year old economic expansion”! I see no proof or evidence of that!. What the Obama administration, and presumptive Democrat nominee Hillary Clinton, fail to realize is voters are not “feeling” or experiencing what they’re being told. They don’t see it! It ain’t happening in real lives outside of Washington, DC!
Trump has clued into this. He knows the lies are not being bought any longer. People are fed up with an administration and government the continually attempts to placate frustration with more and more lies..while becoming indignant when challenged. Whether Donald Trump can make a difference..well, that remains to be seen. One thing is certain..If Hillary Clinton is awarded the White House in November, you can expect more of the same! THAT in and of itself is cause for some serious concern!
I’ll arise before the dawn…the stillness and quiet permeates my surroundings. Beginning again the cycle that has repeated for more years than I care to remember.
Something different will make itself known about this day. Unsettling and uncomfortable.Nevertheless, the routine will fall into play as I begin the tasks that lie ahead. There will be a bit of preoccupation. Ever present and incomplete.
I will find myself surrounded by triggers that lead to inadequacies and shortcomings. I was better in recent years. But I fear that may be lost now. The saddest part is I’m not sure why….
